Gorgeous Frankenstein, part.2

Et bien voici donc la suite de ma splendide Fiancée de Frankenstein. L'image reste sobre, mais le sujet m'attire étrangement. J'ai toujours voué un certain culte au chef-d'oeuvre de Mary Shelley et, paradoxalement, aux films de James Whale qui sont pourtant loin d'être fidèles au roman mais qui ont une atmosphère si magique.
En tout cas, voici les premiers jets de couleurs de l'illustration. La première image n'a que des couleurs faites à l'aquarelle et donc de façon traditionnelle. Mais désireux de faire évoluer mon art sur l'ordinateur, j'ai poussé le dessin plus loin encore avec l'aide de mon ami Photoshop. La deuxième image est donc un extrait de ce qui vous attend quand j'aurais fini de pousser les détails des lumières et que j'aurais corrigé au mieux la colorimétrie de l'ensemble. J'ai manqué d'inspiration pour la terminer d'une traite aujourd'hui mais je ne perds pas espoir de la finir avant la fin de la semaine... On se voit bientôt donc !

Here is the suite of my gorgeous bride of Frankenstein. The image remains sober, but the subject attracts me strangely. I was always fascinated by Mary Shelley's masterpiece and, maybe paradox, by James Whale's movies which are quite far from the original story but which have a really magic atmosphere.
In any case, I will show you the rough colors of the illustration. The first image has only colors made with watercolors and thus in a traditional way. But I wanted to develop my art on the computer, I pushed the drawing further with the help of my friend Photoshop. The second image is an extract of what's coming soon, when I would have stopped polishing up details, lights... I was lacking inspiration to end it in one day but I still hope I could finish it before the next week-end... See you soon!
